A little more pricy than most diners in my area but the food is awesome and my daughter and I always stop here when we're in the area. Their bakery is top-notch, our favorite place to get cheesecake!
Ponzio’s is hands down my go-to spot, no matter the time of day! Whether you’re in the mood for lunch, dinner, or breakfast, the quality of the food is always top-notch. But for me, breakfast is my favorite. The homemade 7-grain bread is absolutely delicious, and their Taylor ham is incredible — cooked to perfection every time. Great service, welcoming atmosphere, and consistent quality make Ponzio’s a must-visit. Highly recommend!
Very noisy. Impossible to have a conversation with my 3 friends. I had the nova salmon platter. It was delicious. The waiter was efficient. I love their cookies too and there are lots to choose from. I bought a wide assortment to take home.
Server Theresa was efficient, courteous and a pleasure. I don't take good service for granted at all - this job is demanding and so much of the customer experience is out of their control. Kudos. On Mother's Day, we had a reservation, but some of our party was running late. No problem for the staff, we had to wait for the 'slow pokes' (my words, not theirs)! They arrived 5 minutes later, when were immediately seated, and we were very well caterered to bu the staff! We spent 1 & 1/2 hours being caterered to.
First time here to celebrate my best friend’s birthday and it was great!!! Tasty food, good service and clean environment! Highly recommend the chicken wings, crispy outside and delicious soft inside not like many other places over cooked and dry! Love the clams angel hair! The desserts were very delicious too!
We’ve been going to Ponzio’s since the 1960’s so it qualifies as a historical fixture in Cherry Hill. They’re still on top of their game as reflected in food taste and quality, service and ambiance. It’s your quintessential Jersey diner visited by world wide travelers time immemorial. So if you’re on tour and in town stop by for real comfort food the home made way. Let me mention Kurt our waiter. You my friend, no, you, you are good. I can sense waitstaff who are there going through the motions and those that exude true hospitality. I mean genuine assistance which we appreciate. Ask for Kurt and get to know him if time permits. Since it is near Thanksgiving I cannot wait for turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, mashed and veggies. It was not only good it was massive. You will be “stuffed.” I like the snapper soup because I don’t see it anywhere else. We also like pumpkin soup and mashed turnips but those items are only one day a week, Saturday! Ugh. Ponzio’s. Your neighborhood gem.
This diner was exceptional in every sense of the word. Unfortunately, I didn't get to enjoy the pastries but the food? So delicious!!! Everything was perfectly made! Our server was attentive. The place is beautiful. The bathrooms are super clean. Everyone is polite to you and smiles. There's plenty of parking. Not one complaint at all.
Great food. Excellent service. Easy detour going to Atlantic City. The bakery items were delightful! This will be a regular stop when we come through the area. So good we stopped on the way back as well!
Been coming here for years. Moved out of town but when I’m back I check in. Scrapple is just a little thinner and food is just a touch better than other diners around. Good stuff can’t go wrong for a jersey “diner”.
